Target and Best Buy will also begin carrying the Facebook gift cards, Target was the first store to give Facebook Credits gift cards a retail presence. The cards balance can be used to purchase a wide range of virtual goods on Facebook’s popular social games such as Farmeville, Bejeweled and Blitz. Facebook Credits can purchase digital goods such as in game upgrades, virtual goods for game characters, and additional in game skills. In won’t be long before millions of dollars of commerce is happening everyday on Facebook and Facebook credits is the companies vision for facilitating these daily transactions.

Facebook Credits gift cards are sold in Walmart, Target, and Best Buy. Facebook gift cards can be purchased in denominations of $5 to $50. The Facebook gift cards are being provided by CMG Entertainment which also provides iTunes and other online game gift cards. Although selling digital Facebook Credits in gift card form may seem old fashioned the company cashes in on users too young to have their own credit card. With no credit card children and teens have no alternative then to purchase online credits in a retail store. Give An Amazon Gift Card On Facebook

Wednesday, November 10th, 2010

You can now give a Amazon gift card to your friends on Facebook, you can even post it right on their wall for everyone to see. Amazon gift cards given on Facebook can have any denomination from $5 to $5,000. One of the best features of Amazon’s Facebook card is the ability to order cards up to one year in advance, so if there is someones birthday or an anniversary you also forget to give a gift on you can set up an automatic delivery of an Amazon gift card. Of course if you buy gifts in advance you should be conscious that social network’s popularity could wane, imagine if you set up a Amazon gift card for automatic delivery on MySpace a year ago? Likely the user you sent the gift card to would no longer be registered on the site. While Facebook is unlikely to face a rapid decline in popularity similar to MySpace its important to keep this in mind, no website lasts forever and peopleĀ  could leave the social network at any time.

To promote the new Amazon gift cards on Facebook the first 10,000 users who send a Amzone gift card to $5 Facebook friends will receive a $5 credit towards MP3 downloads in the Amazon music store.
